Fashion Calgary Portrait Campaign features Calgary’s Top 30 Ambassadors who are shaping the cultural scene of our city, our province and our country
It was with great pleasure to sponsor the second annual Fashion Calgary Portrait Campaign Gala showcased Calgary’s Top 30 Cultural Ambassadors for 2013 with a high-profile evening of gourmet dining and artistic energy at Eighth Avenue Place on Thursday, October 24, 2013.
A portion of the funds raised through sponsorship and ticket sales was donated to the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra’s Musical Camps for Kids to continue to provide educational music programming to families and children in need at selected venues around Calgary ensuring that expression and creativity continue to be fostered in our city.
The night combined a variety of entertainment, arts and culture. The feel of the event was very glamorous and yet powerful. Eighth Avenue Place was filled with some of Calgary’s most amazing talent, and we couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of it. (see photos below)

Approximately 500 people attended to celebrate Calgary’s rich fashion, arts and musical culture along with Alumni Ambassadors of Fashion Calgary’s 2012 Portrait Campaign and 2013’s Top 30 Cultural Ambassadors.
This year Fashion Calgary brought together well-known names with up-and-coming artists at this exclusive event to continue to promote and recognize our city’s fascinating culture with performances by diverse and remarkable musical artists, including Winner of 2008 Canadian Smooth Jazz Award – Allistair Elliot Band, world-class pianist – Krzysztof Jablonski, Mezzo-Soprano Artist – Sara Staples and R&B/Pop Singer – Madison Boxa.
